Being Me

Dear teman-teman, salam sejahtera :)

How I spend my day? Hari-hari Yas tuh sederhana banget, even repetitive, but never ever boring. Would you like to know?
On Mondays and Thursdays, I usually wake up at 6.30 AM (so early, soalnya dressing up tuh lama banget xixixixi, picking up a dress is always a dilemma for me :P)

Sampai di kampus, I spend sometime in my desk, siapin bahan ajar, trus ke kelas, even after 2 years of teaching and lecturing, I always get nervous. I love wearing heals when I teach, thus sometimes, my feet gets swollen, but, I just love it (afterwards at home I soak my swollen feet with warm salted water, no problemo)

Yas ada dua sahabat, yang juga dosen muda, Irianto and Upi(l). When we are together laughing, I get to be childish and goofy, pokoknya gokil banget. I regularly take lunch together with them, my menu? (non meat batagor, punya mbak Ratna di kantin), Iri biasanya makan nasi gila (wajar sih, he is insane), well, for Upil, she loves ayam bakar, sometimes nasi campur.

I read one book in a week. Exhausting? Not at all, kalau lagi baca, rasanya kayak teleportasi into another realm, soothing, surreal, lovely. Reading has made life bearable. My recent conquests are; Fear and Trembling, Contract Social, Black Mass, Madness and Civilization, and Mulamadhyamaka Sastra. 5 books in a month, I'm the ultimate geek :(

Waktu stress, I eat a lot of Ice Cream, tapi karena nyiapin suara untuk nyanyi, sekarang lagi dikurangi. Ice Cream terenak adalah; Strawberry Ice Cream di Bakerz In, and Connelo Strawbery cone.

But, when I am down, Coky has always been the shoulder to cry. He is my lover, my best friend, my big brother, and my partner. We've been together since I was 19 years old, we've been through ups and downs together. He inspires me, and in a way a musical mentor. I think he is the greatest guitarist in Indonesia (Rolling Stone said it so too, hehe)

At night biasanya yas nari, my favorite music to dance to are, Shakira's, Beyonce's, balinese dancing music and Netral!! hehehe

I read before falling a sleep, and the book that is always next to me are, Kierkegaard's and Shincan. Every single night yas selalu bobo dengan one being only, and that is my adorable dog Chibo :)

That's how I live my life, let me hear your life :)

dan makanan yang sering aku makan adalah....(jeng jeng jeng jeng....) Sate padang, ayam kluyuk dan nasi campur 2000an.. HUAHAHAHAHAHA plus cappucino dingin tidak diblender....

Paling enak makan ice cream Ben & Jerry, Yasss. Duh kangen deh! By the way, awal January, waktu aku sama Vero lagi di Bali, aku telfon kamu. Tapi nggak diangkat. Padahal mau ngajakin kamu sama Coki makan bareng. I just found a great hidden culinary spot in Poppies Lane. Nanti yaaa kapan-kapan kita ke sana bareng! Smooch, smooch.
